Over the past years, the Union of Associations has seriously grasped and developed a plan to implement Directive No. 42-CT/TW dated April 16, 2010 of the 10th Politburo, Conclusion No. 93-KL/TW dated November 20, 2020 of the Secretariat and the province's implementation documents, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws. The contents and methods of operation of the Union of Associations have many innovations, increasingly attracting the participation of many scientific and technological intellectuals. Scientific research and technological development activities; transfer of scientific and technological advances into production and life, and environmental protection have been focused on. From 2010 to present, the Union of Associations has implemented 13 topics and projects at all levels. The quality of technical innovation competitions, youth and children's innovation competitions and activities to disseminate scientific and technical knowledge, research, application and transfer of science and technology continues to be improved. The whole province has 26 solutions winning prizes at the national technical innovation competition; 9 solutions winning prizes at the Vietnam science and technology innovation competition; 4 projects were selected by the Central Government to compete and won international prizes. Thereby promoting the role of the Union of Associations and the team of scientific and technological intellectuals in implementing the socio-economic development tasks of the province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Quyet Chien, General Secretary of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and comrade Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the results and efforts of the Union of Associations and the team of science and technology intellectuals. The comrades requested that in the coming time, the Union of Associations continue to thoroughly implement Directive No. 42-CT/TW dated April 16, 2010 of the 10th Politburo; Resolution No. 45 dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee; Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo and directive documents of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee. Continue to enhance proactiveness, creativity, and innovation in the content and forms of activities associated with the province's socio-economic development strategies, plans, and programs. Effectively carry out the work of mobilizing intellectuals in the new situation; Coordinate with relevant units to advise on the development of mechanisms and policies to facilitate the operation of intellectuals. Promote the application and replication of innovative technical solutions in production and social life. Strengthen the organization of forums and scientific seminars to attract and promote the intelligence of intellectuals, especially young intellectuals and intellectuals in enterprises, universities and colleges. The comrades also hope that the province's intellectuals will continue to promote their intelligence and bravery, and excellently complete their tasks; at the same time, constantly study, improve their theoretical expertise, and make contributions commensurate with the noble academic titles and degrees awarded.

At the conference, 130 intellectuals were recognized with academic titles and degrees in 2024.
