The delegation organized a centralized examination at Sa Pa Primary School and Sa Pa Primary School. As a result, 110 children were given a general examination, assessed for motor development, communication, language and social skills. In addition, the doctors also performed specialized screening such as: listening - speaking, measuring hearing, vision: checking vision, visual orientation; assessing IQ, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.


87 children had their records made and were scheduled for direct examination and treatment at the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital; some cases were advised to be treated at the central level. For the remaining children, doctors advised their families on rehabilitation methods and monitored them at school.


Screening activities aim to detect disabilities in children early; create opportunities for children with disabilities in mountainous, remote and isolated areas to receive rehabilitation treatment, integrate into the community and study effectively. At the same time, through the program, promote propaganda and raise people's awareness of early detection and timely intervention for children with disabilities.


According to the plan, the Provincial Rehabilitation Hospital will examine about 2,700 students of all levels in the province who show signs of disability or are suspected of having a disability. The activity will be implemented from May 21 to July 16 in the localities.
