BDK.VN - On May 20, 2025, the School of Cultural, Sports and Tourism Management, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of a training course on knowledge and behavioral skills for people working in the field of performing arts. Attending the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam, Director of the Department of Performing Arts Nguyen Xuan Bac, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam, leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ben Tre province and students.

The training course on knowledge and behavioral skills for people working in the field of performing arts took place at the Ham Luong Hotel Hall ( Ben Tre City) from May 20 to 24, 2025, for leaders of theaters, training and research institutions under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of performance organization departments, art departments, heads and deputy heads of theaters, leaders of departments, leaders of art units under departments of provinces and cities nationwide.

The training course content includes the following topics: General issues on professional ethics and codes of conduct for performing arts officials; Regulations of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on professional ethics and codes of conduct for performing arts officials; Skills in building image, protecting the honor and reputation of artists, protecting the reputation of art units in public spaces and advertising activities; Skills in contacting the press and handling media crises in the field of performing arts; Strengthening discipline, discipline, improving professional ethics and codes of conduct for performing arts officials.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam delivered the opening speech at the training course.

Speaking at the opening of the class, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phan Tam said: “The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes the training class first of all to remind us of the noble mission of the performing arts community: Artists - regardless of their field - are people who carry a special responsibility: not only to create, perform or convey beauty, but also to contribute to nurturing the soul of society, especially the young generation. And that is why the way of life, behavior, speech and action of artists have great influence - they can elevate and inspire, but can also damage trust if they deviate from the standard. That is why we need codes of conduct - not to bind, but to remind us together: being a professional is not enough, but we also have to be a truly beautiful person in every action, every look, every word”.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam delivered a welcome speech to the training class.

Welcoming the trainees to the training course, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam also introduced the typical cultural values ​​and outstanding economic achievements of Ben Tre province. The provincial leaders also hoped that the trainees would focus on the training program and achieve good results, contributing to improving their professional qualifications, behavioral skills, and spreading humanistic values ​​in performing arts activities.

Through the training course, we contribute to equipping and updating knowledge on professional ethics, behavioral skills, leadership and management, contributing to building a team of leaders and professional staff in the field of performing arts to meet job requirements.
