On the morning of April 23 in Hanoi, a press conference was held and the sponsor of the 2025 National U9 Football Tournament, Toyota, was announced.

The first National U9 Football Tournament was held in 2021 with the participation of 16 teams from 16 provinces and cities nationwide. After 4 years of organization, the tournament has become a playground attracting many young players from all over the country. In 2025, the National U9 Football Tournament will take place in Tay Ninh from August 9 to 26.

With continuous development, the tournament has welcomed 30 teams to compete, including many professional training centers and clubs from the community movement, including: Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh , Thai Binh, Hanoi Football Club, Hanoi Police, PVF - CAND, HXS Hanoi, Hai Phong, Luxury HL Quang Ninh...

On the sidelines of the press conference, two national players who grew up in national children's tournaments, Do Duy Manh and Pham Tuan Hai, also shared inspirational stories for the children.

Striker Pham Tuan Hai recounted his memories of coming to football at the age of 9: "Back then, when I joined the team for training, I also cried because I missed home. But that was the first and last time I cried.

When I was your age, I was also punished by the teachers. Thanks to that, I learned a lesson to focus more on football. I hope you guys try hard, always maintain your passion to contribute to Vietnamese football in the future. The most important thing for a player is professional ethics, before focusing on expertise."
