The image of an ambulance with its wheels locked in an urban area caused a stir in public opinion.
Regarding the above information, a representative of the Urban Management Board said that the incident occurred at around 5:50 p.m. on April 29. In fact, the ambulance was parked in the fire department parking area, when security went to check, they did not see the driver, the car was parked for too long so the wheels were locked.
According to the representative of the Urban Management Board, at that time, because they did not know the vehicle was on duty because the engine was turned off, the siren was not sounding, there was no driver inside, and it was parked for a long time in a prohibited area, the above incident happened.
After locking the wheel, the guard still stood guard right next to the car. When he saw the injured resident being brought down, the guard immediately unlocked it without delay.
The locking of vehicles parked in the wrong place in the urban area is agreed upon by the Board of Directors elected by residents with the Management Board to ensure smooth traffic and fire prevention corridors.
Currently, the Da Ton Commune Police (Gia Lam District, Hanoi) has grasped the information about the incident. After the above incident, the Management Board also held a meeting to learn from the experience of security guards to be more flexible in special cases.
