DJ Doll "Mie": "I have never been pressured by my relatives to get married"

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, DJ Mie said that she spent all her time with her family on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024. The beauty said that for the past year, she has been working every day, so during Tet, she wants to spend more time with herself and her family.

DJ Mie shared: "I will stay home and sleep throughout the Tet holiday (laughs). Honestly, I've always felt sleep deprived. Other people usually have shows during Tet, but I choose this time for myself and my family, and can't go out or get in the car to work anymore."

According to the beauty born in 1995, in previous years, she often came home early to help her parents paint the door, polish bronze incense burners, mop wooden floors... However, in recent years, the female DJ no longer helps her family clean or decorate the house like before, because her parents saw her working hard and could not bear to let their daughter do more housework.

Different from her sexy image in everyday life, during Tet, Mie likes to wear Ao Dai. For her, Ao Dai is discreet and formal, suitable for her to wear when visiting relatives or going to pagodas.

Mie added: "Tet is the time when I wear Ao Dai the most, because wherever I wear Ao Dai, I don't have to worry about being judged as sexy or too revealing. Therefore, before and after Tet, I constantly wear Ao Dai in many different styles and colors.

During Tet, people will see pictures of me wearing Ao Dai all over my social media accounts."

According to the female DJ, her parents never commented on her dressing style. In fact, her family members were very proud and sympathetic to the nature of their daughter's job.

Like many other families, giving lucky money to the New Year is always an indispensable activity in DJ Mie's family. Because the family has many grandchildren, the beauty born in 1995 often prepares 50-60 lucky money envelopes to give as gifts. In Mie's memory, the largest lucky money she has ever received is 2 taels of gold given by her older sister for good luck.

Despite being 29 years old, DJ Mie feels lucky that her family is not pressuring her to get married like her peers. Instead, her parents have always supported her in pursuing her own career.

"I have never heard relatives ask me 'when are you getting married' so it's less stressful. In my hometown (Da Nang - PV), few people ask about those things. If they meet me, relatives only ask 'how many cans can you drink!' (laughs), the beauty added.

Despite working hard all year, Mie rarely rewards herself with meaningful gifts. She even has to combine travel with work. In the new year, the female DJ promises to reward herself with valuable gifts.

The 29-year-old DJ confided: "For me, luxury goods are no longer a gift that helps me feel better. My spiritual gift now is the joy of cooking, traveling and experiencing...".

As for her family, DJ affirmed that she "does not regret anything". The beauty is always willing to spend money on her parents and relatives. However, Mie's parents rarely ask or make requests of her.

"My family never asks anything from me. My parents just want me to be home to eat with them. Truly, a meal with all family members is the most valuable spiritual gift," Mie confided.
