Checking the preparation work of the Long Thanh Commune Farmers' Association Congress

On the afternoon of October 1, the Steering Committee of the 1st Congress of the Farmers' Association of Long Thanh commune, term 2025 - 2030, led by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of An Giang province Nguyen Van Cop, inspected the preparations for the congress.

Long Thanh Commune Farmers' Association was established on the basis of merging 3 communes Long Thanh, Vinh Thanh, Vinh Phu, currently has 21 hamlets, 21 branches with 5,376 members; 6 professional branches, 15 professional association groups.

The 1st Congress of Long Thanh Commune Farmers' Association is scheduled to take place on October 9 and 10, with the participation of 260 delegates.

Speaking at the inspection session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Van Cop emphasized: The Long Thanh Commune Farmers' Association Congress is a grassroots-level congress, so the preparation work needs to be carried out carefully and seriously, demonstrating the role and prestige of the association. Comrade Nguyen Van Cop requested the Provincial Farmers' Association Congress Steering Committee to closely coordinate with the Long Thanh Commune Farmers' Association to receive and complete the political report and the congress program according to the comments, ensuring the content is concise, practical, and accurately reflects the actual activities of the Association at the grassroots level.

In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to preparing well the propaganda work before, during and after the congress; focusing on the ceremony, logistics, security and order and welcoming delegates thoughtfully, creating a solemn but close atmosphere...
