An Giang Provincial Military Command awards military ranks and raises salaries to officers

On December 2, the An Giang Provincial Military Command held a ceremony to award military ranks and raise salaries ahead of schedule in 2025 to 31 comrades and hand over 1 decision on personnel transfer.

Colonel Nguyen Van Nganh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the An Giang Provincial Military Command, presented the decision to the officers.

This time, the An Giang Provincial Military Command organized the awarding of decisions on early promotion from major to lieutenant colonel; early promotion from captain to major; early salary increase for lieutenant colonel for the first time, major for the second time, major for the first time; early salary increase for professional soldiers.

The comrades who were promoted and had their salaries increased ahead of schedule this time had made outstanding achievements in the peak emulation campaign "Raising the August Red Flag - Emulating to Win the 3 Best" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Also at the conference, the An Giang Provincial Military Command announced and awarded the decision to appoint Senior Lieutenant Colonel Duong Duc Cuong, Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial Military Command, to hold the position of Inspector of the combined arms, Inspector of National Defense of Military Region 9.
