Innovation in mass mobilization work in the political system

In Giong Rieng, innovation is first and foremost reflected in the way of dialogue with the people. Meetings before the People's Council session have become places where voters frankly raise issues about the regime for meritorious people, policy support for hamlet officials, investment in sewers for production, dispute resolution, payment of social protection benefits, etc. The Party Standing Committee, the People's Council and the working group record each opinion; review, assign officials in charge of solving the problem and update publicly for people to follow. This clear and responsible approach helps many cases to be resolved right at the grassroots level, not allowing frustration to linger.

Along with dialogue, publicizing the progress of processing and resolving records on time creates trust among the people. In the period of 2020 - 2025, Giong Rieng commune organized 120 people's meetings, attended by more than 8,400 people. The emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" developed strongly, with 226 models maintained effectively. Models such as "Close to the people to listen, close to the people to mobilize" help the government grasp the needs of the people, and people feel the companionship from the locality.

In Long Thanh commune, the spirit of being close to the people is demonstrated by quick and transparent actions. During the meeting with voters in August 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Xuyen, residing in Ben Nhut hamlet, reported that the 500m road from Ben Nhut to Nam Hai hamlet was degraded, flooded and had many potholes, posing a danger to road users. The Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune directed a survey, held a meeting with the people and agreed to repair it in the form of the State and the People working together. After only a short time, the road was completed. "The road has been repaired, traveling is much safer. The petition was resolved quickly so the people are very happy," said Mr. Xuyen.

That consensus spread, Ben Nhut hamlet continued to implement the model of "Lighting up the countryside roads" about 3km long from Ben Nhut to Cay Bang. People joined hands to erect lamp posts, contributing to maintaining security and order, reducing accidents at night and improving the appearance of the countryside. The settlement of Mr. Xuyen's petition is just one of many cases that were handled promptly. Small but practical actions create trust among the people, promoting the movement of repairing roads and lighting up the countryside roads to expand to other hamlets. Mr. Tran Quoc Ninh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Thanh commune said: "People want their petitions to be resolved quickly and transparently. We determined that contacting voters must go hand in hand with action, not making people wait."

The two localities have different ways of doing things, but both show that the spirit of innovation in the mass mobilization work of the political system is implemented in a synchronous and practical manner. In each commune, the Party Committee plays a leadership role, providing clear direction; the government focuses on publicity, transparency and resolving work quickly and responsibly. The Front and organizations stick close to the grassroots, expand channels for receiving opinions, strengthen supervision and criticism so that issues of concern to the people are handled promptly. That coordination creates a unified whole, in which the people are placed at the center: When people speak, the government listens; when people need, the government responds; when people participate, the government accompanies, together creating sustainable consensus from the grassroots.
