Nurturing revolutionary ideals for the young generation

In Ha Tien and To Chau wards, the work of creating sources for developing young party members has changed positively with flexible and effective methods. This is a long-term orientation in Party building, and also the responsibility of the locality in caring for and nurturing the successor force.

Promoting youth movements

Over the years, the To Chau Ward Youth Union has not only created an environment for union members and young people to practice but also considered the work of discovering, nurturing and introducing outstanding people to the Party as a key task. From that orientation, the Youth Union branches regularly organize volunteer activities and revolutionary action movements, creating conditions for union members to demonstrate their capacity, sense of responsibility and desire to contribute. Each activity and each program is considered a practical "measure" to evaluate union members. The efforts and pioneering spirit in the movements are the important basis for the Youth Union branches to select typical faces to introduce to the Party for consideration and admission.

Since the beginning of 2025, the To Chau Ward Youth Union has introduced 30 outstanding members, of which 10 members have been considered for admission to the Party. Each member introduced for admission not only has achievements but also has ideals, a positive attitude and a desire to contribute long-term. Mr. Ha Thanh Tan - Secretary of the Ward Youth Union shared: "The young force creates a new vitality in the work of Party building, so we focus on comprehensively training the moral qualities and skills of the members, so that they are truly ready to become Party members."

From these efforts, many outstanding young people have matured in the movement, becoming young party members in their working environment. The case of Ms. Danh Thi Kieu - a teacher at Duong Hoa Primary School is a typical example. After many years of striving, Ms. Kieu was honored to join the Party in November 2025. For her, the moment Being admitted is a great spiritual support on my career path. “Becoming a party member is both a source of pride and a great responsibility for me. As a young party member, I am aware that I must make more efforts in every thought, word and action to be worthy of the trust of the party cell,” Ms. Kieu expressed.

Basic knowledge training

In Ha Tien ward, one of the important factors that helps the ward achieve results in developing new party members is the special attention of the Party Committee in building a strong party organization from the grassroots. Every year, the Ward Political Center coordinates with the Party Building Committee to organize a training course on Party awareness for the elite masses. Through the course, students learn basic topics on the general history of the Communist Party of Vietnam ; Political Platform, Party Statutes; basic content of Ho Chi Minh's thought; strive and train to become a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam; the Party and State's socio-economic development policies and guidelines in the current period...

Director of the Ha Tien Ward Political Center Nguyen Thi Anh Dao said that organizing a training course on Party awareness is very important. This is the first step to help the elite masses grasp the basic knowledge of the Political Platform and the Party's Charter. "The training course helps young people consolidate their political ideology and raise their awareness of the Party. When they correctly understand the history, revolutionary ideals and goals of the Party, they will clearly identify the right motivations for joining the Party, actively strive in work, study and practice to soon become Party members," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - civil servant of the Ha Tien Ward Public Administration Service Center said: "The course helps me understand more deeply the revolutionary ideals, at the same time, clearly see my role and responsibility to the community. I will apply the knowledge I have learned into practice, participate in social movements and aim to become a party member."

In the flow of innovation and integration, today's young generation is a valuable successor force, and at the same time, a living proof of nurturing revolutionary ideals, raising awareness and responsibility for the country. With the attention and correct orientation of the Party Committee, along with practical educational models, Ha Tien and To Chau are gradually building a generation of young party members with enough courage and aspiration to contribute to building a sustainable development of the homeland.
