At the Conference, Comrade Huynh Quoc Viet, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, briefly reported on the results of the 12th Central Conference, 13th tenure. Accordingly, the 12th Central Conference took place over 2 days (July 18-19, 2025) in Hanoi . With a spirit of serious work, democracy, intelligence and high responsibility, the Conference completed the entire proposed program. Some important contents include:
Regarding the preparation work for the 14th Party Congress : The conference gave opinions on the direction of the Congress's personnel work, orientation of the structure and number of Central Committee members for the 14th tenure; standards, number, and principles for allocating delegates to the Congress. Agree on 3 reports to be submitted to the Congress including: Political report; Report summarizing the implementation of the Party Charter; Report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years.
Regarding the country's development orientation : Unifying many policies and orientations to continue perfecting institutions and policies, creating new momentum for sustainable development in the context of deep international integration.
Regarding personnel work : The conference reviewed and decided on a number of important contents to perfect the staff at all levels to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized: The whole province needs to focus on implementing well the construction of a two-level local government model; strive to complete the economic growth target set for 2025. In particular, the organization of party congresses at all levels must be carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring progress, quality and efficiency. He requested the 12 working groups to monitor and direct the congresses of party committees under the Provincial Party Committee to continue to support and give advice to help communes and wards complete documents, successfully organize the congresses - creating a wide-ranging political activity among cadres, party members, union members, association members and people. This is an important premise for Ca Mau to firmly step into 2026 and the following years, striving to achieve double-digit growth, contributing to the nation's journey of rising up in the new era of development.
