Whales appear in Nha Trang Bay

On July 22, a representative of the Nha Trang Bay Management Board said that at around 11:00 a.m. the same day, members participating in the diving activity to pick up trash and release fish to restore aquatic resources organized by the unit saw whales appearing in the Hon Rom area (Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area).

According to the representative of Nha Trang Bay Management Board, on May 18, a school of more than 100 dolphins appeared in Hon Dung area (Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area). The appearance of dolphins and whales in Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area is a positive sign showing that the environment and water quality in Nha Trang Bay are gradually improving; the tasks of the Master Plan for Nha Trang Bay Restoration to 2030 of the Provincial People's Committee have been initially effective.
