Universities celebrate 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20)

* On the morning of November 20, the University of Economics , University of Danang solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025, reviewing the noble traditions of the teaching profession, honoring and expressing deep gratitude to generations of teachers, staff and civil servants who have contributed to the development of the school.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school achieved outstanding achievements. The school had 2 more teachers recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards for the title of Professor: Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy, Principal of the School and Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Party Committee Secretary, Chairwoman of the School Council.

4 teachers were recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor: Associate Professor, Dr. Ha Phuoc Vu, Head of the Department of Financial Planning; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Accounting; Associate Professor, Dr. Thai Thi Hong An, Lecturer of the Faculty of Finance; Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Van Hai, Lecturer of the Faculty of Business Administration.

The school conducts self-assessment of training program quality for 2 undergraduate training programs (cycle II) and 6 master's training programs.

In scientific research activities, the lecturer published 139 scientific articles, including 64 articles in domestic journals and 75 articles in international journals; accepted 1 State/Nafosted level topic, 1 Ministry/Provincial level topic and 10 school-level topics; and approved 4 State/Nafosted level topics, 1 Ministry/Provincial level topic and 4 school-level topics...

9 lecturers received Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Da Nang City and 1 Encouragement Prize of the 2024 Young Lecturer Award...

At the ceremony, the school honored 2 teachers recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Professor, 4 teachers recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor; rewarded individuals and groups receiving the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministerial-level Certificates of Merit... On this occasion, the school congratulated and honored 4 new PhDs including: Dr. Nguyen Le Van - Faculty of Industrial Pedagogy, Dr. Phan Thanh Ngoc - Faculty of Construction Engineering, Dr. Cao Nguyen Khoa Nam and Dr. Do Hoang Ngan Mi - Faculty of Electricity - Electronics; honored and rewarded 80 emulation fighters of the 2024-2025 school year. * On the morning of November 20, Dong A University solemnly celebrated the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2024), reviewing the tradition of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and the process of building and developing the school; praising the achievements in the past school year.

The school's students have won many awards in national and international competitions such as: Second prize in the National Chinese Speech Contest - Da Nang 2025, First prize in the 28th K-Speech World Korean Speech Contest, Second prize in the 7th National Japanese Speech Contest - JLAN-Test Cup, Third prize in the National "Students with Business Ideas - Biz Contest 2025", 4 start-up projects were nominated to participate in the Pre-Incubation program of Da Nang Business Incubator.

The school's lecturers have 89 scientific articles published in prestigious international and domestic journals... 22 training programs (CTDT) meet quality standards, 4 CTDT have just completed assessment according to the standards of the ASEAN University Network (AUN-QA).

On this occasion, Dong A University was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good workers and building a strong Trade Union organization in the 2024-2025 school year. (NGOC HA)

Last school year, the school completed the job placement projects, streamlined the organization and the autonomy project for the period 2025 - 2030. The rate of students graduating on time continued to increase. Examination work was seriously implemented, information technology was strongly applied in teaching...

Scientific and technological activities achieved many outstanding results: 1 scientific research topic at Danang University level, 15 basic level topics and 37 international articles....

The school continues to expand international cooperation with 18 new MOUs/MOAs and 50 cooperation agreements with partners from Korea, China, Japan, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, etc.

On this occasion, the Association of Former Teachers of the University of Foreign Languages awarded 12 scholarships to disadvantaged students. ( DAC MANH )
