Le Thi My Quyen, a student majoring in logistics and supply chain management, was the valedictorian of Saigon International University at the graduation ceremony in May this year.

The girl is a former student of Giong Ong To High School, Ho Chi Minh City, with a GAP score of 3.74/4.0 and an excellent graduation thesis on the topic of optimizing logistics operations at a large enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City.

Sharing rights, in learning she applies the "Flow state" learning method.

This way of learning is understood as bringing the state of mind to completely focus solely on learning, forgetting all sense of space and time and no longer being aware of outside distractions.

When studying this way, Quyen focuses completely on his lessons and forgets everything around him.

The new graduate revealed that there were times when she could apply the "just study" method continuously for 4-5 hours a day. Thereby, helping her absorb lessons and study efficiency reach the highest level.

This method also helped the girl change her approach to studying and life. It helped her become more persistent and able to focus on each small step in her long journey.

This does not mean that Quyen has no time for other activities. Since her first year of university, the female student has started working part-time to earn extra money to cover living expenses as well as to gain practical experience.

At first, Quyen worked as a teaching assistant at an English center, then as a sales person at a logistics company. These jobs helped her feel in a realistic and vivid way about the field of study and the path she was pursuing. From then on, Quyen found herself making more effort to study and try harder.

Before receiving her diploma, My Quyen worked as a business assistant to the director at a commercial manufacturing company.

My Quyen won the first prize of Vietnam Young Logistics Talents at the grassroots level in 2022; was a member who won the encouragement prize of the 5th Student Startup Idea Contest of the Ministry of Education and Training for the idea of ​​phone cases made from rice husks with the message of environmental protection, and many other scientific research awards.

Le Thi My Quyen shared that during her 4 years at university, the most stressful time for her was the final stage, when she completed her graduation thesis. The thesis topic required research foundations, Quyen had to continuously research and study international articles, which was very stressful.

While working, Quyen continued to study for a master's degree with a 100% scholarship and was also given 15 million VND/month (Photo: NVCC).

My Quyen decided that after graduating, she would work and continue her graduate studies with a 100% scholarship for the valedictorian. Not to mention, with her achievements, Quyen was also paid a "salary" by the school, which was a living allowance of 15 million VND/month during her graduate studies.

For Quyen, studying and working at the same time will be a big challenge, but she sees this as a new journey to conquer and test herself.
