My Lam hot spring, a place that attracts tourists

My Lam mineral spring is about 10 km from Tuyen Quang province center along National Highway 37, in My Lam ward. According to historical records, the underground water source was discovered by French geologist C.Madrolle in 1923 with a temperature of up to nearly 70 degrees Celsius, the water source is located at a depth of more than 150 m, so My Lam mineral water is very clear and can be drunk directly. With a fairly high content of hydrogen sulfide in the water, accounting for 5 mg/liter, My Lam mineral spring is also known as "sulfide mineral spring". The French, rated this as one of the best mineral water mines in Indochina.

The investment in the construction of traffic routes in the area contributes to gradually completing the technical infrastructure system serving the development of the tourist area such as: My Lam Ward Central Road, the road from My Lam Hot Spring Tourist Area to National Highway 2D connecting with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway. The locality is also doing a good job of compensation and site clearance to implement projects such as: Vinpearl My Lam - Tuyen Quang Golf Course, My Lam Sports Park, My Lam Urban Resort, public entertainment area in My Lam Ward Hot Spring Tourist Area, etc.

Previously, the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province (old) passed Resolution No. 55, which approved the construction of a road from Tuyen Quang city center to My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area. The purpose of the project is to build a new road about 7.6 km long, with a design speed of 50 km/h, including the main route and a branch route to develop a synchronous traffic infrastructure system to serve the traffic needs and tourism development of Tuyen Quang province. The total investment and capital structure is 996,867 million VND, equivalent to 41.677 million US dollars (USD). After the road is invested, constructed and put into use, it will contribute to creating favorable conditions and shortening travel time for domestic and international tourists to visit and relax at My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area; forming a new urban axis connecting National Highway 2D, Ho Chi Minh Road, Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway..., contributing to making Tuyen Quang a fairly developed, comprehensive and sustainable province in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham, a tourist from Hanoi, said that she and her family often visit My Lam hot spring on weekends, especially since the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway was built, making travel quick and convenient. Mineral baths not only help increase resistance and restore health, but also help with skin, bone and joint diseases, digestion, etc., bringing health, a refreshing spirit, full of energy and "refreshing" herself to prepare for a new week full of energy. She also especially likes the culinary culture and cultural programs rich in national identity held at some accommodation locations.

According to the plan, My Lam Mineral Spring Tourist Area has a scale of 5.4 million m2, with a population of about 20,000 people. Currently, the infrastructure is being urgently built with lakeside villas in Japanese style - inspired by 5-star Onsen resorts in Japan, with a delicate, minimalist and classy beauty, in absolute harmony with nature. The villas in the forest have a tropical style combined with "Wood" architecture - inspired by 5-star resorts in Bali... the overall architecture is open, airy, and creates harmony with the surrounding landscape.
