According to the Korean newspaper Best Eleven , the Korean Sports Agents Association confirmed that Mr. Choi Soo Seong joined the coaching staff of the Vietnam national football team, under the leadership of coach Kim Sang Sik in mid-September.
Mr. Choi Soo Seong graduated from Hanyang University (Korea) with a degree in Sports Management and a master's degree in Business Marketing in the UK. During his internship at a player agency in London, he gained experience in the global sports business.

Mr. Choi will take on the role of interpreter and coach for the national team, and also represent DJ Management (coach Kim Sang Sik's representative company) in Vietnam.
More than just a player transfer agent, Mr. Choi Soo Seong also focuses on the symbiotic relationship between sports and other industries, exploring new business models while contributing to promoting the connection between Korean and Vietnamese sports.
In the coaching staff of the Vietnamese team, head coach Kim Sang Sik is receiving support from Korean assistants including Yoon Dong Hun and goalkeeper coach Lee Woon Jae.
In particular, the Vietnam Football Federation has added assistant coach Lee Jung Soo to replace Choi Won Kwon, who is no longer part of the national team's coaching staff after the 2024 AFF Cup and is leading Thanh Hoa Club.
Since coach Kim Sang Sik took over the "hot seat" of the Vietnamese team, he has achieved many achievements such as leading the national team to win the AFF Cup 2024, helping the U23 Vietnam team win the Southeast Asian championship, and winning a ticket to the 2026 AFC U23 Championship with a perfect record in the qualifying round.
In the immediate future, he will focus on the next two important tasks, which are leading the national team to compete in the remaining matches of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers and leading the U23 team to compete in the 33rd SEA Games.
