Closing the Central Party Congress of the Public Security for the 2025-2030 term

(Dan Tri) - After nearly 3 days of active and urgent work, the 8th Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security has closed.

On the afternoon of October 5, the 8th Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security for the 2025-2030 term was a great success, completing all the contents and programs set out.

The Congress approved the political report and review report on the leadership and direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; discussed documents of the Central Public Security Party Committee and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the Central Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress highly approved the Resolution of the 8th Central Party Congress of the Public Security for the 2025-2030 term, identifying 3 main groups of targets, 8 groups of tasks, solutions and 3 strategic breakthroughs.

The Congress elected a delegation representing more than 67,000 party members of the Central Public Security Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Senior General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, acknowledged and highly appreciated the political responsibility, awareness and intelligence of the delegates, contributing to the overall success of the Congress.

According to the General, the success of the Congress is the result of the meticulous, serious and responsible preparation process of the Congress's sub-committees; the functional agencies of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the central agencies and all party members, officers and soldiers in the entire force.

Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that after the Congress, Party committees and commanders at all levels need to focus on leading, directing, and organizing propaganda on the successful results of the Congress; thoroughly grasp and successfully implement the Resolution and Action Program of the Congress, and turn the Resolution into reality in practical work and combat.

Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the Congress called on the entire Public Security force to continue promoting the glorious tradition of 80 years of building, fighting and growing, continuing to unite, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully implement the Congress Resolution, and excellently complete assigned political tasks.
