How to use reported speech

In this lesson, Ms. Phan Hue, a teacher at the Asian International School system (Ho Chi Minh City), guides students on the knowledge of reported speech.

The teacher guides students on how to use indirect speech in English; the different forms of indirect speech and their formulas; how to convert direct speech to indirect speech in declarative and interrogative forms; notes on changing pronouns, tense shifts, and changing adverbs of time/place in indirect speech; exercises, rewriting sentences (practicing converting from direct to indirect speech).

Previously, in the third episode broadcast on May 15th, the teacher focused on knowledge of passive voice in English; how to convert active sentences into passive sentences; formulas and examples of passive sentences for different tenses.

From now until June 11th, at fixed times (4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 8:30 PM) from Monday to Saturday each week, Thanh Nien Newspaper will broadcast 88 thematic programs for reviewing for the high school graduation exam.

The review sessions are conducted by experienced teachers from Le Hong Phong High School (District 5), Tran Dai Nghia High School (District 1), Bui Thi Xuan High School (District 1), Le Quy Don High School (District 3), Nguyen Hien High School (District 11), etc. Through each online exam review session, teachers will help students save time, take advantage of technology to make learning more engaging, and accumulate knowledge for the upcoming important exam.

Students can access Thanh Nien Newspaper's platforms to watch the program live at the scheduled time or review all previously broadcast episodes.
