May 9 this year will mark the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945 - May 9, 2025). On this occasion, Russia will hold a solemn military parade on Red Square in the capital Moscow.
Dozens of heads of state from many countries and tens of thousands of military personnel will attend the event. At the invitation of the Russian Defense Minister, Vietnam has also sent troops to participate in this year's parade.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) is the only unit in Vietnam that will broadcast the parade live on Red Square via television as well as online platforms.
