“Striker Phan Van Duc officially signed a new contract, continuing to wear the red shirt until 2028 - an affirmation of the trust, commitment and determination from both sides in the long-term development strategy,” CAHN's homepage wrote.

Phan Van Duc joined CAHN at the beginning of the 2023 season. However, he could not play fully in the first year due to a serious ligament injury in the match against Khanh Hoa in the 2023 National Cup qualifiers. The injury forced the Nghe An striker to take a long break and return at the end of the 2023/24 V.League season.

His skillful ball handling, intelligent playing style and sharp finishing help CAHN have more quality attacking options in important stages. The fact that the Police team continues to place their trust in him with a long-term contract shows their appreciation for Phan Van Duc's professional ability and attitude.

In addition, successfully retaining Van Duc also shows CAHN's determination to stabilize core personnel for long-term goals. Previously, the team also extended the contract with defender Vu Van Thanh, one of the important pillars on the right wing. Both Van Thanh and Van Duc are said to have received invitations from major domestic teams, but in the end chose to stay at CAHN.

By continuing to retain experienced players, CAHN shows its seriousness in its plan to compete for titles next season, while strengthening its forces towards the international arena. Van Duc's commitment not only has professional significance, but also sends a positive message about the professional and stable football environment that CAHN is building.
