On June 19, the Da Nang City Pickleball Federation held a press conference to announce the 2025 City Business Pickleball Tournament for the DPF Cup.
This is the first time a large-scale sports playground has been designed specifically for leaders, workers, civil servants and employees in the business sector.

The event is in response to Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on "Continuing to innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of the private economy in the socialist-oriented market economy", celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
The highlight of the tournament lies in the special participants: leaders, workers, civil servants and employees from two key business sectors of the city, including both state-owned enterprises and private economic sector enterprises.
In terms of format, the tournament is divided into 3 groups of competition content: State-owned enterprises; private economic sector enterprises in Da Nang city; and Super Cup content (the champion pair of leaders of State-owned enterprises meets the champion pair of leaders of enterprises in the private economic sector).

Each event is organized on a professional scale, specifically: the leader pair events are limited to a maximum of 64 pairs; events for athletes over and under 40 years old have a maximum of 32 pairs/event.
At the same time, at this Pickleball tournament, Check Var technology will be applied in the competition. All controversial situations will be recorded from multiple camera angles and supported by analysis to ensure transparency in each ball phase.
Not only focusing on the quality of the competition, the Organizing Committee also prepares an attractive prize system, with a total value of up to 400 million VND in cash, not to mention gifts in kind from sponsors.
The Da Nang City Business Pickleball Tournament officially kicked off from August 1 to 3 at Trang Hoang Pickleball Court (86 Duy Tan, Da Nang). The deadline for submitting and reviewing applications is July 11.
