Speaking at the closing ceremony of the "Green Dream" Pickleball Tournament, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, former member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , on behalf of the Association's leadership, expressed his deep thanks to the delegates, sponsors, athletes, referees, volunteers and all the spectators who accompanied and contributed to the success of the season.

According to him, the tournament left a special mark with 240 athletes participating, competing fairly and enthusiastically. Along with the exciting matches, the tournament also spread strong humanistic values.
The 2025 “Green Dream” Pickleball Tournament has called for and received positive responses from athletes, guests and philanthropists for activities to support children with cancer, accompany disadvantaged families, help journalism students overcome difficulties to achieve good academic results and help people in the Central and Central Highlands regions who are seriously affected by floods.
"The contributions of the community have lit up new hope, bringing practical motivation to the less fortunate - this is also the core message that 'Green Dream' wants to convey" - Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi shared.
The Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association emphasized that the tournament ended today, but the spirit of 'Green Dream' - the spirit of sharing, kindness and compassion - will continue to spread, beyond the field, to the community and those in need of help.

In the Men's and Women's Doubles category over 40 years old, the athlete pair Trinh Thi Trang - Nguyen Xuan Thanh excellently won the championship. The athlete pairs Dao Xuan Tuan - Dao Huong and Bui Manh Kien - Nguyen Thi Phuong shared third prize. Second prize went to Nguyen Thanh Tung - Nguyen Thanh Mai.
In the Men's Doubles category under 40 years old, Phan Dinh Manh - Truong An reached the highest position - Championship with impressive and technical playing style. The two third-place pairs were Manh Luc - Le Dai Duong and Dau Cong Linh - Dao Anh Son. Second place went to Chi Cong - Khac Manh.
In the morning, the matches were also tense and dramatic. In the men's doubles over 40 years old category, the pair Nguyen Van Cuong - Nguyen Gia Lam excellently won first place. In the mixed doubles under 40 years old category, the pair Nguyen The Anh - Do Trang won the championship.
On the same morning, the tournament opened with the participation of many delegates, guests, sponsors, benefactors and 240 athletes from many press agencies, partner units and Pickleball-loving communities.

The funds raised from the tournament will contribute to supporting children with cancer and awarding scholarships to journalism students with difficult circumstances who strive to excel in their studies.
The President of the Vietnam Journalists Association also expressed his deep concern for the people of the Central and Central Highlands provinces who are being severely affected by floods, causing great loss of life and property.
