CAHN supports U22 Vietnam

"The coaching staff will create conditions for Dinh Bac and Minh Phuc to join the U22 Vietnam team from the beginning," Coach Polking confirmed at a press conference after the loss to The Cong Viettel in the 2025/26 National Cup on the evening of November 23.

With this decision, two young players of CAHN will immediately move to Vung Tau to join the team right after the match with the army team. Before that, center back Ly Duc was also agreed to join the team early by the police team. This means that coach Kim Sang-sik will have enough force from the first day, thereby ensuring the progress of team formation towards the opening match against Laos on December 4.

During the time U22 Vietnam gathers, CAHN has to face a tight schedule in two international tournaments. On November 27, Coach Polking and his students will welcome Beijing Guoan in the AFC Champions League Two 2025/26. On December 3, they will visit Buriram United in the Southeast Asian Club Cup. Despite losing three young talents, the Brazilian coach is not too worried because he still has quality players in his hands.

On the other hand, U22 Vietnam received bad news when Nguyen Van Truong suffered a serious injury in the match against U22 Korea at Panda Cup 2025. He suffered ligament damage, had to undergo surgery and was expected to be out of action for a long time, creating a large gap in the midfield.

At the 33rd SEA Games, Vietnam is in the same group with Laos and Malaysia, competing on December 4 and December 11 respectively. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his team's goal is to win gold medals at this tournament.
