Hong Nhung Black Jelly Cooperative, That Khe Commune was established in 2022 with 10 members. The main activity of the Cooperative is the production of finished jelly. Ms. Ha Thi Tuyet Nhung, Director of the Cooperative, said: Taking advantage of the available black jelly raw materials in the area, the Cooperative has proactively researched, produced and traded black jelly products. Operating stably, each year the Cooperative consumes 12-15 tons of dry jelly for people in communes in the old Trang Dinh district.

Although not directly producing finished products like Hong Nhung black jelly cooperative, Dong Phat Agricultural and Forestry Cooperative in That Khe commune has played a good role as a "midwife" in supporting people to improve production efficiency. Ms. Nong Thi Hieu, Director of the Cooperative, said: In some communes of Trang Dinh district, there are advantages in developing sugarcane and cassava. Taking advantage of that potential and advantage, the Cooperative has cooperated with households in production. Accordingly, the Cooperative supplies seedlings, materials and consumes all products for people.

Ms. Dinh Thi Thoa, Po Lan village, Quoc Viet commune said: Previously, my family maintained growing 2 sao of sugarcane. From 2024 onwards, my family has cooperated with Dong Phat Agriculture and Forestry Cooperative in production. When joining the association, my family received seed support and the Cooperative also purchased all products at a stable price. Therefore, my family is assured of production and expanded the sugarcane growing area to 6 sao.

Along with the above 2 cooperatives, in recent years, many other cooperatives in That Khe commune have performed well in production as well as creating a chain of links in production and consumption of products for people. Clearly identifying the role of cooperatives in innovating the form of production organization, relevant levels and sectors in the area have implemented many solutions to promote the development of cooperatives in the area. In particular, specialized agencies coordinate with cooperatives with many years of experience operating in the commune to organize propaganda and mobilize founders about the new cooperative model. At the same time, in the period of 2021-2025, relevant levels and sectors continue to effectively implement cooperative support policies such as: supporting new establishment, bringing young intellectuals to work at cooperatives, supporting trade promotion, product promotion with a total budget of over 500 million VND...

Up to now, That Khe commune has 31 cooperatives, ranking second in the province, of which 26 cooperatives were newly established in the period 2020-2025. The average revenue of a cooperative in the commune reached over 1 billion VND/year, an increase of 200 million VND compared to 2021; the average income of workers reached over 5 million VND/person/month, an increase of 1 million VND compared to 2021.

Mr. Than Van Thu, Deputy Head of the Economic Department of That Khe Commune, said: Operating stably and effectively, the cooperatives have promoted their connecting role well, taking the lead in innovating production organization forms, thereby directly contributing to the completion of criterion No. 13 on production organization in new rural construction as well as a number of criteria related to income, employment, poor households...

With the results achieved in cooperative development, we believe that in the coming time, cooperatives in That Khe commune will continue to promote existing conditions to further improve production and business efficiency.
