Talking to us, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Phuc said: “After 6 blood donations, I have gained weight and feel healthier. My motto is: One drop of blood given, one life retained and each blood donation is a self-health check. Voluntary blood donation is a noble act, beneficial to the community, does not affect health; therefore, I will participate in blood donation as long as my health allows.”

Not only actively participating in voluntary blood donation, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Phuc also mobilized his family, relatives and colleagues to participate. In particular, he promoted and mobilized hundreds of officers, soldiers of the unit and local people to participate in voluntary blood donation, making Regiment 295 a leading bright spot in the voluntary blood donation movement of Division 363.
The most memorable memory for him was in May 2023. While working at the unit, he received a phone call informing him that there was a patient who had an accident and was being treated at Kien An Hospital ( Hai Phong City) with a blood type that matched his and was in dire need of blood for transfusion. Without hesitation, he reported to the unit commander, then immediately went to the hospital to donate blood in time, helping the patient overcome the critical condition.
Not only actively participating in voluntary blood donation, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Phuc is also a cadre with solid professional qualifications, enthusiasm, responsibility, performing well in Party and political work in his missions, and is trusted and respected by his commanders, comrades and teammates.
Commenting on his subordinate, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phi Viet Thanh, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Regiment 295, said: "In addition to completing his professional tasks well, comrade Phuc is also very active and exemplary in participating in unit and local activities, especially volunteer activities, demonstrating responsibility to the community."
