Front officials at all levels strive for innovation in every aspect of their work.

Kinhtedothi - “The trust of the people and the recognition of leaders at all levels in the political system are the measures of effectiveness and the motivation for officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) at all levels in the city to continue striving for innovation in every task and event,” said the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

This afternoon, November 15th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City organized a meeting of former and current officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hanoi City to commemorate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Lan Huong; Standing Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Sy Truong and other Vice Chairpersons of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City presided over the conference.

The meeting was chaired by Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City.

Regarding the performance of the Fatherland Front at all levels in Hanoi this year, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Sy Truong, stated that 2024 is a year of "acceleration," of great significance in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the Hanoi Party Committee, and commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital. For the Fatherland Front system at all levels, this is the year of successfully organizing the Congresses of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term.

In the context of a volatile global situation with intertwined opportunities, advantages, difficulties, and challenges, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi has consistently upheld the traditions of the Capital's Fatherland Front, striving to innovate its content and methods of operation, concretizing targets; proactively building and promptly implementing annual work plans linked to the local political tasks; identifying and implementing key tasks, achieving many positive results.

“The contents and tasks according to the established program and plan, as well as unexpected and emerging tasks, have been implemented decisively and proactively by the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city. In particular, emphasis has been placed on promoting work related to the role of representing the legitimate rights and interests of the people in the new situation, striving to work alongside the government in participating in perfecting policies on socio-economic development of the capital; and effectively carrying out social welfare work... contributing to further affirming the position, role, rights, and responsibilities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the political system, which is highly appreciated by all strata of the people,” Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong affirmed.

Representatives of Fatherland Front officials at all levels in Hanoi City from different periods contributed their opinions.

In particular, the Conference heard several opinions and exchanges from officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City from various periods, expressing their delight at the achievements in recent times as well as proposing some solutions to enhance the prestige and position of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city in the future.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the opinions of the Fatherland Front officials of Ho Chi Minh City from all periods, the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Lan Huong, affirmed that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city will seriously implement these proposals and contributions in their work in the coming time, further enhancing the position, prestige, and effectiveness of the work of Fatherland Front officials.

"The people's trust and the recognition from leaders at all levels in the political system are the measure of the effectiveness of our work and also the joy of the Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the city. They are the motivation for Fatherland Front officials to continue striving for innovation in every task and every event," Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong expressed.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City took a commemorative photo with Fatherland Front officials at all levels of the city throughout different periods.

Regarding the activities of the Liaison Committee of Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the city, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the Standing Vice Chairman to soon chair a meeting with the Office and the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City so that all the work of the Liaison Committee from next year onwards can be carried out more effectively.

With new tasks and responsibilities to implement the General Secretary's directives to usher the country into a new era and participate in preparing for Party congresses at all levels, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong affirmed that the Hanoi Fatherland Front will actively and effectively carry out its duties. In Hanoi, the practice of having Fatherland Front officials at the district level also hold other positions is now only found in Thanh Oai district, while the other 29 districts and counties of the city no longer have this model.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City expressed his hope that Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the city, from past to present, would continue to participate in the advisory councils of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, effectively utilizing their rich experience gained from Fatherland Front work. He also hoped that Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the city, with the honor and responsibility of being Fatherland Front officials, would continue to spread the prestige and influence of the Fatherland Front within the community, so that the positive image of Fatherland Front officials at all levels in the city would further strengthen the people's trust in the Fatherland Front.
