Specifically, the Ngo Mon bell is the only bell (unique), located at the main southern gate of the Hue Imperial City. The artifact is considered a typical and unique masterpiece, demonstrating the pinnacle of stone carving and wood carving skills of artisans under the Nguyen Dynasty. This bell was used in royal ceremonies and is considered a "symbol" of the Nguyen Dynasty.

This is a unique work of art in the field of sculpture, painting, bronze casting during the Minh Mang period in particular and under the Nguyen Dynasty in general.
