GD&TĐ - Technicians are rushing to complete the final technical stages, ready for the opening night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026.

On the afternoon of May 27th, the Organizing Committee of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 opened the firing range to allow media outlets to film and interact with the competing teams.

The DIFF 2026 fireworks display area is located at the Han River port, Bach Dang Street (Hai Chau ward), opposite the main viewing stand on the other side of the Han River.

By the afternoon of May 27th, all preparations for the event were basically complete. The competing teams had also arrived, ready for the opening night.

According to the schedule, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2026 will officially open at 8 PM on May 30th.

Opening the first night of the competition with the theme "Nature," the host team Da Nang (Vietnam 1) will compete against the Chinese fireworks team.

Each artillery piece is meticulously assembled and connected to a state-of-the-art electronic control system, ensuring high precision down to the smallest detail.

The artillery pieces were fixed in place and covered with tarpaulins to protect them from the rain.

Competing against Vietnam Team 1 on the opening night was the fireworks team from China.

The technicians are conducting final checks, getting ready for opening night.

The teams prepared meticulously and precisely, hoping to deliver a high-class, visually stunning performance for the viewers.

The first teams arrived at the shooting range on the afternoon of May 27th.

The fireworks are being stored, awaiting the time to be set off.

In addition to fire trucks stationed 24/7 at the firing range, fire-fighting water tanks are also placed around the artillery emplacements to ensure safety.

DIFF 2026, themed “Da Nang – United Horizons,” will take place from May 30th to July 11th, 2026, with five qualifying rounds and one final round. The opening night on May 30th will feature performances by the Da Nang International Fireworks Team from Vietnam and the Chinese team. Subsequent rounds will include: France vs. Vietnam (June 6th), Japan vs. Italy (June 13th), Germany vs. Macau (June 20th), and Australia vs. Portugal (June 27th). The two best teams will compete in the final round on July 11th, 2026.
