(PLVN) - During the April 30 - May 1 holidays, the Northern and North Central regions will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain; the Central Highlands and the South will have sunny days, with some places experiencing hot weather.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas in the Northern and North Central regions from April 30 to May 4, 2025. In the Northwest and Viet Bac, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in the evening and night of April 29, with some places having heavy rain. From the evening of April 30 to May 1, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas having heavy rain. From May 2, the rain will decrease, and the weather will be sunny during the day; there are no signs of heat yet.

The Central and South Central regions on April 30-May 4, 2025 will have little rain, with some places having hot weather; the South Central region on May 2 will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.

Central Highlands, South from April 30 to May 4, 2025, sunny, some places hot. In the South on April 30, there will be hot sun. From the evening of May 1 to May 4, there is a high possibility of showers and thunderstorms.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting also warns of high tides in the Southern region: From April 30 to May 1, the Southern coastal region will experience high tides. This high tide may cause flooding on some roads, low-lying areas in Nha Be district, districts 7 and 8 of Ho Chi Minh City; some low-lying areas in Can Tho city, Vinh Long, especially in case of rain. Flooding time is from 4am to 6am and from 5pm to 7pm.
