Relaxing fishing, angler panics with giant grass carp

Riley Farden was planning to have fun on the Snake River when he unexpectedly encountered a 31kg, 1.2m long "monster fish" that caused a stir in the whole town.

The giant grass carp that Mr. Farden caught broke the previous record for a grass carp caught with a bow of 17 kg as well as the record for a grass carp caught with a rod/reel of 21 kg. Photo: Riley Farden.
