Unique architecture for moments of intersection.
In Phu Quoc, there is an architectural structure not meant for crossing but for connecting emotions. It's the Kissing Bridge, a new symbol of tourism on the pearl island. With a total length of 800m, the bridge consists of two branches, North and South, extending out into the sea, facing each other but not touching, leaving a precise 30cm gap.
This gap isn't a design flaw, but rather an artistic intention. It's just enough for a hug, a handshake, or a romantic kiss between the sea and the sky. It's the moment people fill that gap that makes the bridge complete, transforming it into one of the world's most unique sunset viewing spots.

Inspired by Renaissance art and the wonders of nature.
The structure is the work of Italian architect Marco Casamonti, inspired by Michelangelo's classic fresco "The Creation of Adam" on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican. The image of two fingers not touching in the artwork has been recreated through the two branches of the bridge, symbolizing the connection between people and people, and between people and nature.
Even more remarkably, the architects precisely calculated that on January 1st each year, the sun would set and perfectly fit into the gap between the two bridge promontories. This moment creates a spectacular natural spectacle, attracting visitors from all over to admire it.

A global tourism icon
Before becoming a popular tourist destination, the Kissing Bridge made a strong impression on international media. CNN, the American news agency, once published an article titled "Vietnam's New Bridge is for Kisses, Not for Crossing," describing the structure from afar as resembling "two pairs of lips about to touch."
The recognition continued when the structure was twice honored by the World Travel Awards as the "World's Leading Iconic Tourism Bridge 2025". Overcoming harsh construction conditions in the middle of the ocean, the Kiss Bridge has become a must-see destination, featured in numerous works of art and witnessing countless romantic moments under the Phu Quoc sunset.
