On October 14, according to information from the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Traffic Works of Bac Lieu province, the construction progress of Ranh Ninh Quoi bridge is estimated to have reached 90% of the volume.
As planned, the Ranh Ninh Quoi bridge (in Ninh Quoi A commune, Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province) will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024, ensuring the travel needs of people in the area.
The construction of Ranh Ninh Quoi bridge belongs to package 16, under the Project of Construction and Upgrading Ninh Quoi - Ngan Dua Road, Hong Dan District, Bac Lieu Province).
Package No. 16 is implemented by the contractor Phan Hien Construction - Trade - Service Co., Ltd. - Minh Phu Construction Cooperative Joint Venture. The project is invested with a budget of nearly 12 billion VND.
Currently, the main bridge section has been technically opened to traffic, the contractor is preparing to lay asphalt concrete for the Mb abutment and bridge deck.
According to the leader of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Traffic Works in Bac Lieu province, the project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The Ranh Ninh Quoi Bridge project is a part of the Ninh Quoi - Ngan Dua Road Construction and Upgrade Project, Hong Dan District, invested by the Bac Lieu Province Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, with a total project investment of more than 271 billion VND.
The total length of the route is about 10.9km, passing through the communes of Ninh Quoi A, Ninh Hoa and Loc Ninh of Hong Dan district.
Level IV plain road scale, design speed 60km/h, load over 10 tons, road surface width 7m, roadbed width 9m, high-class road surface type A1, construction of drainage system and synchronous auxiliary works.
The project started construction in 2019 and is expected to be completed and put into use in 2024.
