Sharing with Tri Thuc - Znews , midfielder Dang Van Lam said the whole team was very sad when receiving the announcement from the team's leaders. "The whole team was sad when the leaders announced that the club would stop operating. It is not known whether the pre-season friendly tournament will be played or not, the coaching staff is considering. It is possible to let the young players continue playing, or to cancel it because the players are no longer in the mood," Van Lam said.

Although he still has a contract with Quang Nam Club, Van Lam expressed his wish to leave and the leadership agreed. However, he shared that he did not know which team he would join.

Side Club Da Nang will receive 4 players from Quang Nam including Khong Minh Gia Bao, Nguyen Duy Duong, Le Van Quang Duyet and Le Vu Quoc Nhat. This is considered a support move in the merger process, when the Quang Nam team stops operating and transfers most of its personnel to the Han River team. However, not all players are sure to have a place in the new team.

"The players are also sad and regretful because the name Quang Nam is no longer there. I heard that I will be transferred to Da Nang Club, but right now I am focusing on playing in the U21 tournament. After it ends, I will know clearly about my future," Le Van Quang Duyet shared.

While only a few were transferred to Da Nang FC, the majority are facing unemployment as the new season approaches. Striker Nguyen Phu Nguyen shared that he and his teammates did not expect the club to stop operating so suddenly.

"We all heard rumors that the team would disband, but when we participated in the friendly tournament, the coaching staff and the whole team still believed that we would continue to operate. It wasn't until the meeting with CEO Nguyen Trong that everyone knew officially," he said.

According to Phu Nguyen, the players who are on trial will find new opportunities, while those who are still under contract will still abide by their commitments to the club. For those who wish to leave, the team leaders will create conditions. However, with only 4 people accepted by Da Nang, the future of the rest is still a big question mark.

"Currently, the teams have almost completed their squads for the new season, so everyone is really confused. V.League is about to start, the risk of unemployment is very high. Some people have applied for liquidation papers to find a new destination," Phu Nguyen added.

The fact that Quang Nam FC did not participate in the top tournament in Vietnam has left many players in a difficult situation, especially the young ones who have not had many opportunities to show their skills. Although some have been given new opportunities, most are still waiting for a miracle in the final days of the transfer market.

Meanwhile, what remains of the team that won the 2017 V.League is now just a sad memory in the hearts of Quang Nam fans.
