Central Retail Vietnam "connects supply and demand" with businesses in Ninh Thuan province

NDO - On April 17, 2024, in Ninh Thuan province, the program "Connecting supply and demand" took place between Ninh Thuan province's enterprises and Central Retail Vietnam Group, attracting the participation of 42 enterprises and OCOP entities with more than 100 products of all kinds.

This is the first time the Department of Industry and Trade and the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Ninh Thuan province have co-chaired and coordinated with Central Retail Vietnam Group to organize this event. The program creates opportunities for Central Retail Vietnam Group's purchasing team to directly connect with businesses in Ninh Thuan province, soon bringing the province's goods, mainly specialties, OCOP products with 3 stars or more, to distribution and consumption at Central Retail's GO!, Big C, and Tops Market supermarket systems nationwide.

This is an important premise to help Central Retail's purchasing team to soon negotiate contracts with potential partners, bringing famous specialties of Ninh Thuan (apples, grapes, aloe vera, tragacanth gum, lamb, goat meat...) into distribution in the GO! and Big C supermarket systems nationwide.

The supply-demand connection program attracted 42 businesses and OCOP entities with more than 100 products of various types to participate.

At the “supply-demand connection” program, with the active support of the Department of Industry and Trade and the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Ninh Thuan province, the purchasing departments in the fast-moving consumer goods and fresh food industries of Central Retail Vietnam had the opportunity to learn more about the supply capacity of Ninh Thuan province enterprises.

The two sides openly discussed and gave comments on packaging designs, product quality, etc. to suit modern retail channels, helping Ninh Thuan province businesses more easily bring goods into Central Retail's distribution systems.
