The first competition of the VGA Junior Tour 4th Leg between the U18 Men, U18 Women and U15 Men groups took place at Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An. The top teams of the U18 Men, U18 Women and U15 groups were Nguyen Duc Son, Than Bao Nghi and Nguyen Trong Hoang respectively.
Nguyen Duc Son opened the first day of competition with an eagle at hole number 6 and 4 birdies at holes 7, 8, 15, 17. With a score of (-6) and a bogey free, Duc Son is currently leading the U18 Men's group as well as the entire tournament. Following Duc Son, in 2nd place is Doan Uy with a score of (-3).
Stage 4 of VGA Junior Tour 2023 begins.
“Introducing” with a double bogey at hole 2, Doan Uy finished the 18 holes on the first day of competition with 5 birdies at holes 6, 7, 9, 15 and 18. Sharing 3rd place at the moment are Pham Nam and Nguyen Dang Minh with a score (+1). Pham Nam brought home 3 birdies, meanwhile, Dang Minh won 5 birdies in round 1 of Stage 4 of VGA Junior Tour.
Than Bao Nghi is temporarily leading the U18 Women's table with Even Par points. Double bogey at hole number 4 did not seem to shake Bao Nghi when she scored 3 birdies at holes 6, 8 and 11. Stopping at 2nd place is Arena Tran when she scored 1 birdie, bringing the total score (+4) after the first day of competition. Meanwhile, Nguyen Kim Phuong Anh had the second eagle point yesterday. Phuong Anh scored 82 strokes in total, ranking 3rd in round 1 of VGA Junior Tour 4th Leg.
Nguyen Trong Hoang and Tran Nguyen Hai Nam are leading the U15 Men's Group. Both have 2 birdies with a total of (+4) points in today's competition. Closely in 3rd place at the moment with (+7) points are Nguyen Giang Bao Luan and Pham Dang Long.
