Gas station fire, 2 pumps and motorbike burned down

According to initial information, at around 8:00 a.m. the same day, when the Petrolimex gas station (on Tran Hung Dao Street, Hai Cang Ward, Quy Nhon City) was operating normally, it suddenly caught fire fiercely.

Residents nearby said that when the first explosion occurred, the fire was small, but when the second explosion occurred, the fire flared up fiercely. A few dozen minutes later, staff and firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.

Speaking to Thanh Nien reporter, Mr. Bui Chanh Khiem said the fire did not endanger the lives of gas station employees and residents. "The cause of the fire was due to an old, unsafe motorbike. When entering to get goods, the spark plug caught fire, causing the gas station to catch fire. However, the gas station's fire suppression system, the authorities, and the gas station staff were able to control the fire in time," Mr. Khiem added.
