Details of commune-level administrative units of Hung Yen province after rearrangement

Hung Yen province plans to reduce 100 communes and wards after administrative unit rearrangement, equivalent to 71.9% of the number of existing commune-level administrative units.

Hung Yen province currently has 139 commune-level administrative units including: 13 wards, 8 towns and 118 communes. After the reorganization, Hung Yen province has 39 commune-level administrative units, including: 6 wards, 33 communes, a reduction of 100 commune-level administrative units (7 wards, 8 towns and 85 communes).

The number of commune-level administrative units expected to be formed after the arrangement at the district level is as follows: Hung Yen city: 3 wards, 1 commune; Tien Lu district: 3 communes; Phu Cu district: 4 communes; Kim Dong district: 4 communes; An Thi district: 5 communes; Khoai Chau district: 5 communes; Yen My district: 4 communes; My Hao town: 3 wards; Van Lam district: 3 communes; Van Giang district: 4 communes.
