Last week, Barcelona approached MU to loan Marcus Rashford with terms for the striker who is being shunned at Old Trafford.

The Spanish giants are willing to pay 100% of Rashford's wages (£325,000/week) to bring him to La Liga.

The deal will save the Red Devils £15m in wages, a vital sum for Ruben Amorim as he looks to clean up his squad.

In addition, Barcelona can buy Rashford outright next summer for £30 million if the player performs well.

Both sides hope to complete the deal before United fly to the US for their pre-season tour early next week, while Barca will also be travelling to Asia from July 27.

Marcus Rashford himself is very excited about the prospect of moving to Spain. In a recent interview, he admitted that he would love to play with Lamine Yamal.

Initially, Barcelona wanted to recruit Luis Diaz. However, Liverpool's price of 80 million pounds made the Nou Camp team "turn around".

Rashford is a financially viable option. So, right after coach Hansi Flick agreed, Barca's leadership promoted the loan of the English striker.
