Sharing knowledge of 4.0 startups for high school students in Nghe An

On April 12, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture to organize a workshop on “Startup Journey from High School” in person at Le Viet Thuat High School (Vinh City) and online at the connecting points of high schools in the area.

The workshop “Journey to start a business from high school” is an activity within the framework of a series of activities to implement the Prime Minister ’s Project 1665 on “Supporting students to start a business by 2025”. Thereby, it aims to create motivation, promote spirit, aspiration and share inspiration for starting a business for students.

This is also one of the cooperation contents between Nghe An Department of Education and Training and Vietnam Academy of Agriculture.

Attending the program, students, managers and high school teachers across the province were shared knowledge about human resource needs in the 4.0 industrial revolution by experienced speakers, including lecturers, experts and business representatives; shared about start-up activities and technology knowledge and creative start-up competitions of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture...

The workshop “Entrepreneurial Journey from High School” has contributed to nurturing and arousing ideas and passion for entrepreneurship right from high school for students.

Thereby improving the quality and effectiveness of education, training, and career guidance for students, creating job opportunities for students.

At the workshop, students, teachers, and managers had their questions about startup activities and ideas answered by experts.

In his closing speech at the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Cong Tiep - Deputy Director of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture emphasized: “We agree with the organization of the annual High School Entrepreneurship Journey Workshop to continue effectively implementing Decision No. 1665/QD-TTg dated October 30, 2017 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project "Supporting students to start a business until 2025"; paying special attention to the selection of topics, content, and flexible organization methods, so that the workshop achieves the highest efficiency.

At the same time, agree with the experts' assessments on human resource needs, the start-up journey of students at high schools in Nghe An province, universities in general and Vietnam Academy of Agriculture in particular, and recommendations and solutions that need to be implemented in the coming time.
