Admire the painting "carp watching the moon" in the rice fields in Ninh Binh

On the golden rice fields of Tam Coc stretching along the Ngo Dong River, people have created a folk painting of “ly ngu vong nguyet” (carp watching the moon) with an area of 10,000m2. This is a symbol of fulfillment, abundant water energy supporting the development of green tourism in the ancient capital of Hoa Lu with a thousand years of civilization.

Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of Ninh Binh Province Department of Tourism, said that with the desire to make "Tam Coc Golden Color" become the brand identity of Ninh Binh tourism, the unit aims to build a new tourism product each year so that visitors have the opportunity to visit, experience, and admire the uniqueness of rice plants and the further goal is to build the image of Tam Coc in four seasons, each season with a unique image. "In the 2023 "Tam Coc - Trang An Golden Color" tourism week, Ninh Binh province is expected to welcome over 400,000 visitors with main activities such as: Visiting Tam Coc rice fields; participating in cultural and artistic programs, walking streets, folk games, watching Xam singing, Cheo singing, water puppetry..." - Mr. Manh added.
