In order to support and create conditions for students with difficult economic circumstances to have the opportunity to study, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 157/2007/QD-TTg dated September 27, 2007 on credit for students; Decision No. 750/QD-TTg dated June 1, 2015 on adjusting and reducing lending interest rates for a number of policy credit programs at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and Decision No. 05/2022/QD-TTg dated March 23, 2022 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decision No. 157/2007/QD-TTg dated September 27, 2007 of the Prime Minister on credit for students.

Accordingly, the Government will provide credit support for students in difficult circumstances, so that they can cover their study and living expenses while studying at universities (or university equivalent), colleges, vocational colleges and vocational training institutions established and operating in accordance with Vietnamese law./.
