On the afternoon of October 16, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Vo Van Minh and the Economic - Budget Committee had a field survey, listened to reports on the progress of investment and construction, and disbursement progress of key projects and traffic connection works in the Ba Ria - Vung Tau area (old).

At the survey points of Route 991B, Phuoc An Bridge and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, the Regional Traffic Project Management Board and the Agriculture Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province (after merging with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee) reported on the progress of implementation, capital disbursement, and overall planning of key traffic projects and works, connecting in the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau area. In addition, the Board also pointed out some difficulties and problems in the process of implementing and disbursing capital for the projects.
