Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh inspected construction works and projects in Bao Lac district.

On the morning of April 19, continuing the working program in Bao Lac district, the provincial working delegation led by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh inspected a number of works and projects in Phan Thanh and Khanh Xuan communes and Bao Lac town (Bao Lac). Accompanying the delegation were leaders of departments, branches and Bao Lac district.

The inspection team inspected Khanh Xuan stone quarry, Khanh Xuan commune, exploited by Toan Phat Cooperative with an exploited reserve of 10,000 ^m3 , an area of 0.5 ha, exploited until 2026. The quarry is currently supplying materials for all works and projects in the district.

Provincial Road 202, from Bao Lac town to Phan Thanh commune, is invested by the District People's Committee. The project is under construction to renovate and upgrade the following items: 3.5 m wide road surface, 50 cm wide sidewalk, 20 cm thick, type B traffic road; total investment of 12 billion VND, 3.7 km long, to be completed in 2023, about 1 km is under construction. To date, the project has completed over 60% of the volume, and is expected to complete the entire project by the end of 2023.

Next, the delegation surveyed a number of projects in Bao Lac town such as: Neo River dredging project and plans to relocate the town People's Committee office out of the Nong family mansion.

During the inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Xuan Anh requested that for the Provincial Road 202 project from Bao Lac town to Phan Thanh commune, the investor direct relevant units to strictly implement and speed up the project progress, ensuring the planned time. Regarding the proposal to increase the exploitation capacity of Khanh Xuan stone quarry, the province will direct the relevant agencies to closely follow the State's regulations and the actual situation for consideration in the coming time.

Regarding the project of dredging the Neo Riverbed and the plans to relocate the office of the Town People's Committee out of the Nong Family Mansion, the district needs to consider the actual situation, propose feasible plans, coordinate with relevant agencies to carry out necessary procedures to implement in accordance with State regulations, protect the ecological environment, preserve the architectural values of the heritage, preserve, conserve, embellish and promote the value of historical relics, contributing to promoting the development of tourism potential of the Western districts and the province.
