
In his welcome speech, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi highly appreciated the working content of Hung Thinh Company and the working delegation; at the same time, he briefly introduced the potential and outstanding advantages of the province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed: Lam Dong currently has 18 FDI projects of Chinese enterprises with a total capital of more than 2.2 billion USD, demonstrating the growing interest of investors in the locality.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that Lam Dong possesses the largest natural area in the country, converging three typical ecological regions including plateau, midland and coastal areas; has sea, forest, border gates, seaports, creating great space for green and sustainable economic development.

The province has many industrial advantages thanks to large bauxite and titanium reserves and 192 km of coastline favorable for renewable energy development.
Lam Dong's high-tech agriculture is currently the leading in the country, with Da Lat being the center of high-quality vegetable and flower production. In addition, the province owns two famous tourist cities, Da Lat and Mui Ne.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also frankly shared that the province still faces difficulties in traffic infrastructure, but in the next three years, the expressways connecting Da Lat - Ho Chi Minh City and Gia Nghia - Ho Chi Minh City will be completed.

Currently, the Phan Thiet – Ho Chi Minh City expressway and Lien Khuong airport are in operation; Phan Thiet airport is also preparing to come into operation, opening up favorable conditions to attract investment in agriculture, industry, tourism and areas of interest to businesses such as education, vocational training and healthcare.

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Bui Manh Lan, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Hung Thinh Corporation, Investor of Dong An 1 and Dong An 2 Industrial Parks, Head of the delegation, expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome of the provincial leaders.
He said the delegation included many businessmen with the surname Bui; among them, there were 13 billionaires, who were looking for investment opportunities in Vietnam. Notably, the delegation included Mr. Hoang Quan, 93 years old, who was an interpreter for President Ho Chi Minh and is currently an advisor to the China-Vietnam Friendship Association (Guangdong province).

Mr. Bui Manh Lan emphasized that Da Lat is a land rich in emotions, familiar to many members of the delegation. He assessed that Lam Dong's potential is huge, converging all the conditions for cooperation in many fields that businesses are studying such as transport infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, health care services, mining, metallurgy, pharmaceutical processing, real estate and trade.

The members also exchanged many contents related to investment activities, investment fields in which both sides are looking for partners and opportunities in the fields of transport infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, health care services, mining, metallurgy, pharmaceutical processing, real estate, commercial centers, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi said that the two sides could first promote tourism by opening flights connecting Lam Dong with China.
He affirmed that Lam Dong is an attractive destination for Chinese tourists, while China and Hong Kong are also attractive destinations for Lam Dong people.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance of people-to-people connections and said that the province had assigned specific working contacts to the delegation to promote cooperation; at the same time, he expected that businesses in the delegation would soon return to continue to learn and promote investment in Lam Dong.
