Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung informed voters of Nam Xuan commune about the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 10 months of the year. In the context of the country's general difficulties, some targets have been achieved quite positively so far. Nghe An's budget revenue to date has reached over 19,400 billion VND, an increase of 22% compared to the estimate; attracting investment of over 36,320 billion VND, the whole province is striving to attract more than 1 billion USD in FDI by the end of this year; public investment disbursement is over 63%.

The fields of culture, society, social security, and care for the poor continue to receive investment attention. Up to now, the whole province has built and repaired nearly 11,000 houses for poor and disadvantaged households; mobilized over 140 billion VND to support the northern provinces affected by natural disasters.

Based on Resolution 39 of the Politburo , the whole province has persistently and made efforts to advise, propose and have the National Assembly approve Resolution 137 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; Resolution 1243 on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels will take effect from December 1, 2024.

To achieve the growth targets from now until the end of the year, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung requested all levels, sectors and localities to make more efforts. Recalling the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the 10th Central Conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung affirmed: it is necessary to shift from a rigid state management mindset to a development mindset, while performing the task of effective state management, encouraging creativity, liberating production capacity, and unlocking resources; absolutely eliminating the idea of banning if you can't regulate. In the coming time, the province will study to promote decentralization to the district level in the spirit of local decision, local action, and local responsibility.

Along with that, the province will select key tasks and key projects to organize and implement; continue to promote administrative reform and digital transformation in the spirit that all policies and mechanisms are aimed at the people and for the people.

Taking note of the voters' recommendations and wishes, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee will direct departments and branches to pay attention and make efforts to resolve them. The contents beyond the authority will be recommended to ministries, branches and the Central Government.
