Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province Nguyen Viet Oanh emphasized that over the past time, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha has always accompanied the nation and made important contributions to the development of the country. At the same time, he informed the Venerable and dignitaries about the socio-economic development results of Bac Giang province.
Accordingly, in 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and people of Bac Giang province have promoted the achieved results, united, made efforts, and determined to successfully carry out the tasks. Bac Giang ranks first in the country in economic growth rate, with many indicators leading the country. In particular, many places of worship and religious beliefs have been built and upgraded.
He affirmed that the result had the positive contribution of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, of Venerable Thich Thanh Dung, of Buddhists inside and outside the province who promoted the tradition of solidarity, creating strength for Bac Giang to concentrate on conditions for economic and social development, implementing social security policies. Thereby, increasingly consolidating the great national unity bloc, further strengthening the people's trust in the leadership of the Party.
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province Nguyen Viet Oanh hopes that in the coming time, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Dung will continue to pay attention to and lead the Buddhist Association of Bac Giang province to develop and further consolidate the great national unity bloc, contributing to the development of the homeland.
