Chairman of Long Xuyen City People's Committee visited and presented gifts to policy families and meritorious people

On the morning of April 29, Chairman of Long Xuyen City People's Committee Tran Minh Duc led a working delegation to visit and present gifts to outstanding policy families in My Khanh commune, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Specifically, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Phan Tan Hong (born in 1949, residing in Binh Hoa 2 hamlet (a meritorious person); Vo Thanh Pho (born in 1959, a war invalid) and Vo Dong Tro (born in 1960, a war invalid), both residing in Binh Hoa hamlet, My Khanh commune. At the places they visited, Chairman of the People's Committee of Long Xuyen City Tran Minh Duc kindly asked about their health and life, and expressed his respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of those who have contributed to the cause of fighting and protecting national independence and unification.

Thereby, the city leaders hope that families will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, be exemplary in local emulation movements, and always be exemplary models for their children to follow.
