The Political Report of the Party Congress of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism clearly states that the Party Committee has proactively organized the implementation of the Resolution of the Department's Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and achieved many important results. Most of the targets and tasks set out have been achieved or exceeded. Party building work has seen many positive changes.

The development of a cultural environment has been emphasized. Cultural institutions at the grassroots level have received attention and investment, and their value has been promoted. The quality and effectiveness of cultural activities have been gradually improved. The cultural life of the people has continuously improved.

Tangible and intangible cultural heritage is given attention for preservation and promotion, especially the unique cultural values of ethnic minority groups, creating a diverse, unique, and distinctive cultural space. Outdated customs and traditions are fundamentally eliminated.

The role of literature and art is valued and promoted more. Mass physical education and sports activities, school sports, and professional sports are always given importance. High-performance sports have achieved some positive results. It has attracted social resources to invest in and provide sports services.

The quality and effectiveness of press agencies continue to improve, providing timely, truthful, and comprehensive information on political, economic , and social life in the area.

People's access to information, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority regions, is ensured. Management of various types of information on the Internet is strengthened.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will strengthen the building of a clean and strong Party organization; and improve the effectiveness of state management of cultural, sports and tourism activities.

Promote administrative reform and digital transformation; proactively innovate and create, and effectively implement tasks related to the development of culture, sports, tourism, information, press, and publishing. Contribute to building an advanced Quang Ngai culture rich in national identity, and continuously improve the material and spiritual lives of the people.

The goal is that by 2030, 87% of families will meet cultural standards, 85% of villages and residential areas will meet cultural standards, 100% of communes and wards will have cultural centers; and 100% of villages and hamlets inhabited by ethnic minorities will have their traditional cultural spaces preserved and promoted.

Prepare dossiers proposing the ranking of 1 special national monument, 2 national monuments, and 4 provincial monuments.

Most villages, residential areas, urban areas, industrial zones, export processing zones, and economic zones have at least one sports facility or one public exercise and sports training spot.

For the tourism sector, by 2030, it is projected to welcome approximately 8 million visitors (including 500,000 international visitors). Total revenue from tourism is expected to reach around 8 trillion VND.

100% of communes, wards, and towns have broadcasting systems utilizing information and telecommunication technology, reaching villages, hamlets, and residential areas. 100% of the province's population, including those in remote areas and islands, can listen to and watch radio and television channels serving essential national and provincial political and informational propaganda needs.

At the congress, the Decision on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province was announced. This is a grassroots party organization directly under the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province, officially commencing operations from July 15, 2025.

Fifteen comrades were appointed to the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province, term 2025-2030.

Appointing Comrade Pham Thi Trung, Provincial Party Committee member, member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, and Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the first term, 2025-2030.

In her closing remarks at the congress, the Director of the Quang Ngai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Pham Thi Trung, emphasized: "The Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism still has many tasks to accomplish in the coming period, especially in the phase of having just completed the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units and the merger of provincial-level administrative units."

The Congress calls upon all cadres, Party members, and the masses of the Party Committee to continue to unite, uphold a sense of responsibility, and strive to successfully achieve the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the Party Committee Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
