The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued an Action Plan to implement the National Cyber Security and Safety Strategy, proactively responding to challenges from cyberspace until 2025, with a vision to 2030 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The plan focuses on protecting national sovereignty in cyberspace; protecting digital infrastructure, digital platforms, digital data, and the city's cyberspace infrastructure. In particular, the plan focuses on creating digital trust, building an honest, civilized, and healthy cyber environment, preventing violations of the law in cyberspace; and improving the effectiveness of state management of information security and network security in agencies, units, and enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the strategic targets of this plan, Ho Chi Minh City sets a target that by 2023, the rate of information systems at levels 3, 4, and 5 in Ho Chi Minh City will be classified and protected by level and the rate of information systems fully implementing plans to protect approved level proposal files will reach 80%; by 2024 it will be 90% and by 2025 it will reach 100%.
