Carefully prepare the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony of 9 projects to celebrate National Day September 2 in Hai Phong

Comrade Le Anh Quan, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, inspected the preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony at the investment project to build a resettlement area for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.

On the afternoon of August 16, comrade Le Anh Quan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee inspected the preparations for the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony of projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Also attending were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors, and project investors.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee inspected the preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the T2 Passenger Terminal project - Cat Bi International Airport.

Comrade Le Anh Quan and the delegation inspected the preparations for the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies at the following projects: Construction of the resettlement area of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project; Passenger Terminal T2 - Cat Bi International Airport; construction of May Chai bridge and the access roads on both sides of the bridge.

At the inspection, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that the projects selected by the city to start construction and inaugurate on the occasion of National Day, September 2, are all important projects, creating momentum for the city's socio -economic development and expanding urban space. Therefore, the preparation work must be thorough, solemn, safe, worthy of the event's stature, creating a deep and wide spreading effect among the people.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee inspected the preparations for the inauguration ceremony of May Chai bridge and the access roads on both sides of the bridge.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the City Police to direct professional units and local police to closely coordinate with investors and localities where the event takes place to develop a plan to regulate traffic, ensure security and order, and prevent and fight fires.

The Department of Construction and local authorities will strengthen guidance and inspection of investors to complete procedures and conditions for organizing groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies in accordance with regulations. In particular, pay attention to checking the safety of construction structures and event organizers.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hai Phong Newspaper, Radio and Television coordinate with investors to promote information and propaganda work on projects and groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies to encourage national pride and the development of Hai Phong city.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan also noted that Hai Phong Telecommunications urgently inspects and ensures the provision of smooth and safe transmission lines for the entire program from the connecting points to the main connecting point... Investors and event organizers must carefully prepare material and technical conditions, speed up construction, complete the installation of event organizing houses and stages; and do a good job of decorating and celebrating the event area to create highlights and a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people.

Hai Phong City started and inaugurated 9 projects on August 19.

In which, construction started: Passenger Terminal T2 - Cat Bi International Airport; resettlement area of Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project; National Highway 37 bypass (section connecting Thong Nhat Bridge/National Highway 37 with Ring Road I); Thai Binh River overpass and access road of Ring Road I; Martyrs' Temple and cultural park, organized in Tan Hung ward (west of the city); traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge.

Organizing the inauguration of May Chai bridge and the approach roads on both sides of the bridge (main bridge point); Dong Viet bridge approach road connecting National Highway 37; Phase II of Hai Duong Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital project (inpatient treatment and general services block).
